Avcon Industries, Inc. ISR Solutions Receives FAA Approval for King Air Wing-Mounted Hard Points and SAT COM Radome

OLATHE, KANSAS, January 20, 2022, – Butler National Corporation (OTCQB: BUKS) announces that its subsidiary Avcon Industries, Inc., a leading provider of ISR (intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance) and special mission solutions for aircraft, received Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) approval for the installation of hard points, also known as provisions for external stores. The hard points are wing-mounted inboard and outboard with an optional cost-effective SATCOM/BLOS Radome on the Beechcraft King Air Model 200, B200, B300, 350. The collective modification package, including the Avcon lower fuselage ISR POD, defines the new Avcon ISR NG King Air platform. Avcon is increasing its focus on developing ISR Solutions across multiple aircraft platforms.

With its expansion of ISR-capable products, Avcon has developed a new subsidiary, Avcon ISR Solutions, to reinforce the Avcon presence in the ISR marketplace. The ISR products are derivative of the commercial products Avcon has developed and installed for more than 50 years. Avcon will continue to develop, manufacture, and install products under its Avcon Industries, Inc. identity for the commercial market in addition to the new Avcon ISR Solutions brand.

Avcon Caravan Aircraft Sensor Platform FAA STC Approved

OLATHE, KANSAS, January 5, 2022, Butler National Corporation (OTCQB: BUKS) announces that its subsidiary Avcon Industries, Inc., a leading provider of ISR and special mission solutions for aircraft, received Federal Aviation Administration approval of Avcon special mission modifications for the Model 208 and 208B Caravan. FAA Supplemental Type Certificate number SA01975WI approves Avcon fuselage sensor ports with or without the Avcon Mission Power System for the Textron Aviation (Cessna) Model 208/208B.

The Avcon Caravan Sensor STC solution offers a cost-effective installation of dual sensor holes (ports) in the aft fuselage of the airplane and the optional provisions for custom missionization power for the Caravan.

Butler National Acquires All Equity Interest of Boot Hill Casino Manager

OLATHE, KANSAS, October 20, 2021, – Butler National Corporation (OTCQB: BUKS) a recognized provider of professional management services in the gaming industry, announces its subsidiary, Butler National Service Corporation (BNSC) closed on the purchase of the minority equity ownership interest in BHCMC, LLC, (BHCMC) that results in BNSC being the sole owner of BHCMC, manager of the Boot Hill Casino & Resort.

BNSC purchased the 2,000 Class A Preferred Membership Units from BHC Investment Company, LC for approximately $16.4 million including an allocation for taxes. The Sale and Purchase of the Preferred Units in BHCMC, LLC makes BNSC the sole owner/member of BHCMC.

Stock Repurchase Program Announced

Olathe, Kansas – Butler National Corporation ($BUKS), a leading manufacturer and provider of support systems for commercial and military aircraft and a recognized provider of management services in diverse business groups including the gaming industry, today announced that its Board of Directors approved a stock repurchase program authorizing the repurchase of up to $500,000 of its common stock. Purchases under the program are authorized through May 1, 2018. At current market prices, this represents authorization to repurchase approximately 4% of outstanding shares.

BUTLER NATIONAL CORPORATION CONFLICT MINERALS REPORT

The aerospace part of Butler National’s business is based upon design engineering and installation innovations to enhance and support products related to airplanes and ground support equipment. Certain Butler products contain materials and components which use small amounts of conflict minerals. Due to the depth of the supply chain, Butler is far removed from the sources of ore from which these materials are produced and the smelters or refiners that process those ores. The amount of information available globally on the traceability and sourcing of these ores is limited and Butler must rely on its suppliers to provide us with information on the origin of any conflict minerals contained in components and materials supplied to us.
